luojiafeng1984 asked:

Dear american friends, Will you keep distance with people who has infected hepatitis B?
In my hometown, If you have infected hepatitis B, so many people who knew that will stand off you except your loved ones and few really friends and few sincere colleagues, does it in America so?

Its a blood borne disease you get it the same way you get HIV so the answer is no of course not.

You should take precautions with body fluids though.

I might stay far away enough that I wasn’t exchanging blood or other bodily fluids with them, but I can’t imagine that happening in normal social interaction.

Why? I they are so paranoid, there is a vaccine. Just go get one. But you aren’t going to get it from standing next to them or shaking their hand. You have to have sex or contact with their blood. Tell them to stop being so paranoid or you are going to catch stupidness from them as well.
