Teena! asked:

My grandmother has Hepatitis C and is an alcoholic and I am going to send her a letter to tell her what happens when drinking with the infection.

People who have Hep C should NEVER drink alcohol. Hep C is a virus that damages the liver. Alcohol is processed by the liver. Drinking alcohol will increase the rate of liver damage. It could lead to cirrhosis or liver cancer. Your grandmother needs to stop drinking.
