Can you catch Hepatitis C by hugging someone and coming in contact with his sweaty hair touching your mouth?

    No, you can’t catch Hep C that way. Hep C is transmitted by blood, not by sweat or saliva. It can also be transmitted through sex, but sexual transmission of Hep C is very rare.
